​"BACK-TO-SCHOOL INFORMATION
We hope you're all enjoying your Summer Vacation!

Our Admins are busy making numerous improvements to our Campus and getting ready for the start of a great new School Year!  

Since we understand the importance of good communication between our parents and our Admins and Teachers, we utilize these various forms of effective communication:  
  • HIGHPOINT FAMILIES WEBSITE:  Our Admins post information daily on this website designed to provide info for our Highpoint Families.
  • CLASS WEBSITES: Teachers will post information, HW assignments, Projects, announcements & more on their own Class Websites. 
  • HIGHPOINT APP:  We're currently finalizing our new HIGHPOINT APP!  We will make this announcement and provide more details soon. 
  • WHATSAPP CHAT GROUPS:  We've already created WhatsApp CHAT GROUPS for each grade level.  After classes resume, our PTO Members will be electing "PTO CLASS REPS" that will be the liaisons between the school Administration and the Parents. The Reps will immediately forward HIGHPOINT NEWS or ANNOUNCEMENTS to the parents of their class throughout the school year.
  • SCHOOL TEXTS and EMAILS: Our Admin Team communicates information via school-wide text blasts and emails if necessary.  
  • CLASS DOJO:  On this online platform, our teachers send messages, share photos/videos, send updates, reminders and more!

Our mandatory "PARENT ORIENTATION" meetings will take place on different days, as indicated below.  Due to space and parking limitations, Orientation is for Moms & Dads only. (No students or other family members will be allowed to attend.)

DATES:
  • ​Tuesday, AUGUST 13th at 5:30 p.m. -  "Parent Orientation Meeting" for Toddlers, Jr. Pre-K and VPK parents only.
  • ​Tuesday, AUGUST 20th at 5:30 p.m. - "Parent Orientation Meeting" for Kindergarten thru 3rd Grade parents only.
  • Thursday, AUGUST ​22nd at 5:30 p.m. - "Parent Orientation Meeting" for 4th thru 8th Grade parents only.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
For the convenience of our families, all school supplies are available for purchase directly ONLINE through the SCHOOL READY program. These orders will be delivered neatly packaged to our Main Campus.  (NOTE: Our PTO gets 10% from all sales made from these transactions. So, while you're getting your child's supplies for next year, you can also show support for our school!)

SUMMER REVIEW INFORMATION

​All students entering 1st thru 8th Grade are required to complete a "Summer Review" Assignment" due by the first day of school.  For more information about these assignments, please click the "2024 SUMMER REVIEW"  tab above to access the parent memos and resources containing all Guided Reading Questions and math assignment details organized by grade level.

BOOKBAGS
Toddlers thru 8th Grade
​To better assist our students in learning organization skills, to make it easier for Teachers and Parents to see what books each student is carrying, as well as for safety reasons, only CLEAR book bags will be allowed again for ALL Toddlers thru 8th Grade students. Students can pick any color trim or style, but the actual book bag must be completely clear. Many options are available on Amazon.com. 

To encourage creativity, book bags can be customized with the child's name and age appropriate themed vinyl decals on the front pockets. One of our PTO moms will be offering personalization options; (see flyer below).
SCHOOL UNIFORMS & GROOMING POLICIES INFORMATION

TECHNOLOGY, iPAD and CELL PHONE USE POLICIES

Students not abiding by our policies will face consequences indicated therein. It is extremely important for all our parents to monitor closely their child's use of electronic devices and social media at all times. 
A link to all our school's POLICIES & PROCEDURES page will be posted on this page soon. A signature acknowledgement section will be provided so that all our Parents students can read our policies online and sign acknowledgment electronically.
