"READING RABBITS" PROGRAM

·      Role-playing emotions of the characters in the stories being read to them
·      Identifying beginning, middle and ending sounds
·      Reviewing “AT” word families; (cat, bat, mat, rat, etc.)
·      Depicting details of the story
·      Learning “color words”
·      Practicing fine motor skills; writing, cutting, etc.
·      Enhancing hand-eye coordination
·      Identifying, learning and reading sight words
·      Orally applying new vocabulary words and learning how to enunciate and use them appropriately
·      Improving Literacy through Bingo games, Flash Cards and SMARTBoard games.
·      Enjoying interactive stories on SMARTBoard
