Although most Parents and Students already know how to use an iPad and instructions are available on literally hundreds of videos just by "Googling" the words iPAD Training videos, below are a couple of videos that we feel will assist you. iPad2 User Guide also provides instructions. You can either go online to www.apple.com/manuals/ipad or on the iPad, tap on SAFARI (Brower) which is usually at the bottom left corner. There you will find the iPad User Guide that will show you everything the iPad device can do!
To start, we urge you to start by doing the following: STUDENT'S PHOTO ID ON EACH iPAD 1. Take a picture of your child's FACE (close-up) with the iPad in the Camera app and save it. 2. Tap on SETTINGS and go to WALLPAPER. Scroll through your CAMERA ROLL or PHOTO LIBRARY and select the picture of your Child's Face and tap on it so that it can become the iPad's "Wallpaper." This way, each time the iPad is turned on, we can easily identify its owner!
CREATING HIGHPOINT FOLDERS FOR EACH SUBJECT AREA and DOWNLOADING APPS The first short video below demonstrates how to CREATE FILE FOLDERS. The second video shows how to to DOWNLOAD APPS. Remember that all students must have their Apps organized into ONE FILE FOLDER for each Subject Area; (per the iPAD APPS LIST selected by their Teacher and posted on this site.)
