iPAD PROGRAM INFORMATION, RULES and POLICIES

Technology, iPad and Cell Phone Policies

Why use an ipad?

iPad inspires creativity and hands-on learning with features you won’t find in any other educational tool — on a device that students are really excited to use.  Powerful interactive, educational Apps, selected by Teachers for every subject area, allow students to engage with content in interactive ways, find information in an instant and access an entire library wherever they go.  With  interactive textbooks, iPad takes learning to a whole new level.  iPads engages students in real world tasks and encourages them to think and explore as they create, evaluate, analyze, apply and understand information.

iPads will NOT replace Teacher-directed instruction, play, social interaction, hands-on learning, project-based learning, experiments and other traditional methods of learning.  iPads will be utilized as an added tool to enhance the learning process and to better prepare students for the real world ahead.

All our students, from 2-year old Toddlers through the 8th Grade, are reinforcing their learning process with the use of their iPads which are required of all Highpoint students.  We're thrilled to be one of the first schools in the Country to start students on this journey during their early childhood years!

ALL HIGHPOINT STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ABIDE BY OUR iPAD RULES & POLICIES AT ALL TIMES!   (Please click button above to read our Rules and Policies)
