We're so proud of our 8th Grade student Ezequiel Bartra, and his little sister Emma who is in 3rd Grade. Telemundo did a beautiful segment on them that is worth seeing. It's called: "Hermanos Unidos Por La Pasion del Futbol." Congratulations to these wonderful students and their amazing Parents that have been loyal members of our Highpoint Family for many years!
For the safety of our students, employees, and Highpoint families, Highpoint Academy's "COVID-19 PROTOCOLS" will be strictly enforced. For more information on our school's Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols, please visit our "COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS & CDC RESOURCES" page.
RECOMMENDATIONS to prevent COVID-19
and its Delta Variant
Per the CDC Guidelines:
"Masks should be worn indoors by all individuals (age 2 and older) who are not fully vaccinated. Consistent and correct mask use by people who are not fully vaccinated is especially important indoors and in crowded settings, when physical distancing cannot be maintained."
"Vaccination is currently the leading public health prevention strategy to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Promoting vaccination can help schools safely return to in-person learning as well as extracurricular activities and sports."
For additional guidance, please read the CDC’S GUIDE TO MASKS and USE OF MASKS TO SLOW THE SPREAD.
LET'S ALL HELP MARCOS CAMJI, OUR HIGHPOINT ALUMNI (Class of '99), DURING THIS TIME OF NEED.
Marcos and his older brother Carlos attended Highpoint from the age of 2 thru 8th Grade. Their wonderful Mom Lourdes, a lifelong educator, was our PTO President for many years. Marcos went on to become a PE Coach, following the footsteps of Coach Oscar (his mentor.) Marcos survived a very bad car accident recently. Tragically, his leg had to be amputated but his road to recovery has begun. He's now receiving extensive therapies as he works on his mobility and also continuing his pain control. Please contribute to the GoFundMe that was established in his name to help him with the skyrocketing expenses ahead.
Any amount donated will be appreciated.
