Highpoint's 2021 Learning Program options:
Although the majority of our students have already transitioned to "On-Campus" learning with safe and protected Covid-19 safety protocols, due to the high number of Covid-19 cases that continue in our City, we will not be requiring all our students to return to school on campus. Students can continue learning "Virtually" from home. For Parents that are opting to have their child remain at home for now, we will continue offering our "Partial Virtual" (PV) learning option as follows:
1. If we have a COVID positive case at school, then everyone that was in "close contact" with that person will immediately be required to transition to our full time "Virtual Learning" during a 10-day quarantine period, based on most recent CDC and Dept of Health instructions and guidelines.
2. Siblings without symptoms are not currently required to quarantine at home. Those students that wish to also stay at home, will need to participate in the "Partial Virtual" program.
3. We need all our Highpoint families to maintain safety protocols at home also. Please avoid large gatherings, wear a mask at all times, wash hands repeatedly and keep social distancing. Let's ALL do our part to keep our children, our teachers and our families safe!
